At Tableit, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information across all of our services, including:

  • The Tableit reservation platform
  • The Tableit Dining Network
  • The DMV Dining Club
  • One-time invitations sent on behalf of participating restaurants

By using Tableit's services or interacting with our communications, you agree to the practices described below.

1. How We Receive and Collect Information

We may receive your information in two ways:

1.1 Directly From You

When you interact with our reservation platform or opt into the Tableit Dining Network, we may collect:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Reservation details (date, time, party size, etc.)
  • Any information you choose to provide when opting in

1.2 From Restaurants (One-Time Invitation Lists)

Some participating restaurants may provide us with your contact information solely so we can send you a one-time invitation to join the Tableit Dining Network or DMV Dining Club.

Important notes:

  • Tableit does not independently purchase or scrape contact lists.
  • Restaurants share contact lists only for the limited purpose of sending that one invitation.
  • If you do not opt in, you will receive no further marketing communication from us.

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 Reservation Management

If you make a reservation using the Tableit platform, we use your information to:

  • Confirm and manage your reservation
  • Send updates or changes
  • Contact you if issues arise
  • Provide customer support

The restaurant you book with receives your information only to manage that reservation.

2.2 One-Time Invitation Emails (Dining Network / DMV Dining Club)

If a restaurant provides your contact information, we use it solely to send a single invitation to join the Dining Network.

You will receive no further messages unless you choose to opt in.

2.3 If You Opt In to the Tableit Dining Network

If you opt in, Tableit may use your information to:

  • Send exclusive dining offers
  • Deliver updates or promotions from restaurants across the Tableit network
  • Provide dining-related newsletters and membership benefits

Important:

  • Restaurants do not receive your personal information when we promote them.
  • Tableit itself sends these promotions using its own systems.
  • A restaurant only gains access to your information if you choose to book with them or provide it directly.

2.4 Communications Under Soft Opt-In (Reservation Users Only)

If you make a reservation through Tableit, we may contact you with messages related to:

  • Your reservation
  • The restaurant you visited
  • Tableit features
  • Dining-related offers similar to your experience

You may opt out at any time.

2.5 Cross-Restaurant Offers and Recommendations

Tableit may send you dining recommendations or promotions from other restaurants in our network.

These messages are always sent by Tableit, never by the restaurant itself.

Your personal information is not shared with the promoted restaurant unless you interact or reserve with them.

2.6 Service Providers

We may share information with trusted vendors who help us:

  • Send SMS/email communications
  • Process or store data
  • Provide customer support
  • Host or maintain technical systems

These vendors may only use your information to perform services for Tableit and cannot use it for their own purposes.

3. How We Share Your Information

Tableit does not:

  • Sell your personal information
  • Share your data with third-party advertisers
  • Share your data with other restaurants unless you directly book with them

We only share your personal information with:

  • The restaurant you reserved with (reservation-related only)
  • The restaurant that originally collected your data (if they provided it to us for a one-time invitation—your data is not "shared" because they already had it)
  • Service providers acting on our behalf

Opting into the Dining Network does not give restaurants direct access to your information.

4. Your Choices and Opt-Out Options

You may opt out of marketing at any time.

Email

Click "unsubscribe" in any promotional email.

SMS

Reply "STOP" to the phone number sending messages.

One-Time Invitation

If you ignore the invitation, you will receive no further messages.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

6. Children's Privacy

Tableit is not intended for individuals under 16 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Legal Basis for Communications

We may contact you:

7.1 As a Service Provider to the Restaurant

If the restaurant provided your contact information for a single Dining Network invitation.

7.2 Under Soft Opt-In

If you made a reservation and provided your contact information for a service similar to the communication being sent.

7.3 With Your Explicit Consent

If you opt into the Tableit Dining Network or DMV Dining Club.

No additional marketing will be sent without opt-in where required by law.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.

Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of Tableit after changes become effective signifies your acceptance of the updated terms.
